If you keep an eye on my web page you will already be aware of the dates I have booked however if you do not then all will be told here. I currently have a few bookings for shows with more being confirmed 28th July 2012 - Nottingham pride 4th August 2012 - giffard arms Wolverhampton 10th August 2012 - venue 71 Birmingham 26th October 2012 - venue 71 Birmingham As well as these dates I will be debuting a new act on the 28th July and another on the 4th of August. Embraced Showcase - 26th May 2012

Another event I was called upon to perform at the last minute. In fairness I don't mind at all, its work and I enjoy it very much.

Embraced showcase is one of my favourite events to perform at, the three acts instead of two is a bit of  killer and there is really little interval to get changed between the first two acts however once again it went well. The music was amazing and the compere really worked the crowd. Sadly a lot of burlesque virgins in the audience so at first they had to be goaded into taking part but it was all good and apparently everyone enjoyed it which is always a good night.

The acts were superb as per-usual.

My own chosen three this time in order were;
Meridiana
Lavender and Honey
Unicornis

Unicornis seams to be a well rounded favourite with audience and performers alike and well at the moment is still my favourite act. Its very elegant and apparently 'really sticks in your mind for ages afterwards)

I shall be performing both of these dates with some fabulous talents. You will be shamed to miss out on them.

Also after much deliberation I am crafting several new acts over the next year or so.

Secret Sundae -May 6th 2012

The last Secret Sundae to grace Wolverhampton's Presence... yep sadly its gone. Which is a shame because its such a fun and friendly night.

This night boasted the talents of Betty Wishes, Lola Lashes, Delilah Cherryblossom and a debut from some lovely ladies from Leicester.

The performances I chose for this Night were Lavender and Honey as well as Draconian. Originally I was supposed to debut my newest act 'Opaline Butterfly' However some of the costume didn't arrive in time. Though Draconian went down very well in the end so I'm not complaining too much despite me being very ill that night.

Embraced Showcase - 27th April 2012

If you're in the Burlesque scene in the Midlands most likely you would of heard of Embraced showcase. It was one of the best nights I have had the privilege to perform at and the crowd are very receptive. This night in particular was named the weird and the wonderful  as it was a themed night.

This provided me with a residency so I hope to be performing here again soon.
I was also booked for a private party the following day from this so I am not complaining at all it was great fun.

Though a long night everyone enjoyed it, with starlets; Velvet Von Black, Foxy La'roque and pixie amore gracing the stage as well as myself.

This night we all had to perform three acts each and I was booked to perform,
Lavender and Honey, Unicornis and Draconian.

Secret Fridae - 13th April 2012

Considering it was a Fiday and it was the 13th I didn't think it was an unlucky day at all.

We didn't have an amazing turn out but everyone who was there was lovely and suprisingly louder than most places I have been with more people. Atmospherically it was nice and calm with pleasant tranquility. the bonus was that I knew pretty much everyone else who was performing which was great. A lot of talented act although we all got in a bit introuble with the venue because they didn't realise that burlesque involves 'stripping'.... really? They didn't know? Thats a bit silly signing up to play host venue to a night in which you dont even know what occurs. Ah well it was great fun anyway.

I performed My acts meridiana and Unicornis and got some rather nice video recordings to. Which can be seen on my website ... for those that dont know its http://www.missabsynthium.co.uk/

Shhh it's a secret

Friday the 13th of April, there is a burlesque night on called Secret Friday (originally secret Sundae) this looks to be a fun, friendly event. The best part is the line up is a secret as is the theme so you never know who will be on. This is in Birmingham at the walkabout. It's worth a look at.

Also on the 6th of May there is a secret Sundae event in Wolverhampton at the Numa bar. It's more of a showcase of performers this time but once again the line-up is a secret.
